Radiance

Bahá'í camp

October 13th-15th, 2023

Registration

Registration Fees are to be paid via the PayPal link on the website following completion of your registration form. You are not fully registered until you have paid.

Despite inflation, we are able to keep the registration fees the same as they were way back in 2019!

Please note that registration fees are non-refundable, regardless of weather or any other inability to attend. Cabins, the big activity tent, tables, chairs, and food need to be paid for in advance.

To calculate fees, add up the total number of people you are registering by age and by type of camper.

Please register as one of 3 types of campers:

  1. Cabin camper: $80/adult; $70/ages 13-17; $60 for ages 3-12; under age 3 free. Cabins have two sets of single bunk beds with mattresses and can sleep up to four adults. You must bring your own bed linens; none are provided. The cabins do not have bathrooms; restrooms with showers are nearby. No cooking of any kind is allowed inside cabins. No pets are permitted in the cabin area. Cabins include a table and chair, ceiling fan, light, and AC window unit. Each cabin also has a picnic table, outdoor grill and fire ring (subject to Burnet Co. burn ban restrictions at the time of camp), water, and 30amp hookup.

  2. Tent camper: $60/adult; $50/ages 13-17; $40 for 3-12; under age 3 free. Tent camping is not at a designated campsite, but may be pitched anywhere within the cabin areas utilized by Radiance Camp. You must bring your own tent and camping gear. Restrooms with showers are nearby.

  3. Day camper: $30/person Day campers attend Saturday only. We ask that you please register as a day visitor on-site if you do not register in advance online. The registration fee for a day visitor includes all the Saturday meals and drinks (however, breakfast may be finished depending on your arrival time). Your fee also helps cover the cost of the tent, chairs, tables, and equipment rental.

If you have an RV or would like to reserve your own tent campsite elsewhere in the park, please make your reservations separately and register with us as a day camper.

Fees

Meals

The following meals will be provided and are included in your registration fees:

  1. Friday Dinner

  2. Saturday Breakfast

  3. Saturday Lunch

  4. Saturday Dinner

  5. Sunday Breakfast

Meals are prepared by volunteers and it is a big effort to prepare food for nearly 200 people! At mealtimes, please:

  • be prompt (to ensure that you get food before the “kitchen” closes)

  • be patient (it takes time to get everything ready and everyone served - this is an excellent chance to make a new friend while in line!)

  • be courteous (please wait to see that everyone is fed before heading back for seconds).

Please consider bringing your own reusable mug and water bottle/cup to cut down on waste.

Service

This camp is run by volunteers and its success depends on everyone pitching in. Please sign up to help out during camp. There are many opportunities to serve, even if you only have a few minutes. If you see something that needs doing, please step up. Service opportunities include wiping down the tables, helping out with games, emptying the trash cans, washing dishes, and folding chairs & tables at the end of camp.

Drinks include hot tea or coffee; cold water and lemonade. S’mores are usually planned for Saturday evening if there is not a burn ban.
